Our commitment

CNY Content Management Systems is committed to providing a website that can be used by people with a wide range of abilities, devices, and assistive technologies.

Accessibility standard and current status

This website is designed to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. We also use selected practices from newer WCAG guidance when they improve usability without weakening the WCAG 2.0 Level AA baseline.

We do not describe this site as formally conformant until the completed published website and its essential user processes have received the required final accessibility evaluation. This statement will be updated when that evaluation is complete.

• Visible keyboard focus indicators
• Text and control contrast designed for WCAG 2.0 AA thresholds
• Text that remains usable when enlarged
• Descriptive links and accessible names for controls
• No automatic audio or unnecessary flashing content
• Reduced-motion support for users who request it
• Accessible Word alternatives for intake documents
• Review of new components and content as the site changes

Downloadable documents

CNYCMS provides Project Inquiry and Partner Profile documents in fillable PDF and Word formats. The Word versions are provided as an accessible alternative. If a downloadable document creates a barrier, contact us and we will work with you to provide the information in another usable format.

Known limitations

The site is still under development and has not yet completed the final publication-stage accessibility evaluation described in our internal build instructions. Third-party software, browser behavior, PDF viewers, and assistive technologies can also affect how a feature behaves. We will document material limitations here if they are identified.

Assessment approach

Before a full WCAG 2.0 Level AA conformance claim is made, CNYCMS plans to combine automated checks with keyboard-only testing, screen-reader testing, contrast review, 200% text-resize testing, semantic-structure review, document testing, responsive/mobile review, and regression testing after meaningful changes.
